Nathan Graves
Nathan started working for PolyGram New Zealand as marketing manager with the likes of Metallica, Bob Marley, Roni Size, Sting, Pavarotti, Portishead, Page & Plant, OMC, Nathan Haines. In 1998 he transferred to the UK as Head of Jazz for Universal Music, marketing acts like Herbie Hancock, Diana Krall, George Benson, Us3, Mark de Clive Lowe and Ella Fitzgerald. He also created compilations with Michael Parkinson and created the biggest ever selling jazz compilation, the multi-platinum 'VBO Smooth Jazz' and 'The Jazz album 2003'. In 2003 he signed Jamie Cullum to Universal.
Since leaving Universal three years ago he was worked on a variety of music projects with corporates including Allied Domecq, The Licensing Company, Marks and Spencer, MTV Europe, Ministry of Sound, BBC Music, EMI Music and Virgin. His business Innate Music, specializes in developing compilation concepts and has had significant chart success in the last two years.
Nathan is the Marketing and A&R expert with Solid Air.
